Intended Use
The Reagent Precision Test is used on the RX Series clinical chemistry systems for checking proper functioning of the reagent fluid metering and photometric measuring system. This product is suitable for use on the RX Series instruments which includes the Rx Daytona and the Rx Imola.
Principle
The reagent precision test uses a solution of Potassium Dichromate as reagent and deionised water as sample to check proper functioning of the reagent and sample fluid metering systems as well as the photometric measuring system. The reagent and sample are mixed in a cuvette and the absorbance of the resulting solution is measured at 340 nm. Replicate measurements are made and the precision is calculated.
