Intended Use
The Sampling Precision Test is used on the RX Series clinical chemistry systems for checking proper functioning of the sample fluid metering and photometric measuring system. This product is suitable for use on the RX Series instruments which includes the Rx Daytona and the Rx Imola.
Principle
The Sampling Precision Test uses a solution of Potassium Dichromate as sample and deionised water as reagent to check proper functioning of the sample fluid metering system as well as the photometric measuring system. The sample is dispersed into the cuvette with water and therefore diluted. The absorbance of the resulting solution is measured at 340 nm. Replicate measurements are made and the precision is calculated.
